This policy explains what information Bluedle collects, why, and how it's handled. Bluedle is a small, independently run daily quiz site — this isn't a large company with an army of lawyers, but we still want to be straightforward about what happens with your information.
If you just play without signing in, we don't collect anything that identifies you personally. Your answers for that session are only kept locally in your browser so the site can show you the result.
If you create an account, we collect:
We use this information only to run the site: to let you sign in, track your streak and accuracy, show badges you've earned, display the leaderboard, and show your comments to other players. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Bluedle's backend runs on Supabase, which stores our database and handles account sign-in. Supabase is a data processor for us — they host the data but don't use it for their own purposes. If you sign in with Google, Google's own privacy policy governs the information their sign-in flow shares with us.
We use your browser's local storage and standard session cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your progress on a given day's question. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
You can delete your account at any time by emailing bluedle.game@gmail.com — this permanently removes your account and play history. You can also just stop using the site without an account and nothing personal is retained.
Bluedle is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
